  • Moroccan Green Tea with Fresh Mint

GENERAL INGREDIENTS:
Unsalted pistachios or unsalted + salted pistachios
Kosher salt (only add if NOT using salted pistachios)
Sugar
Eggs
Orange blossom water (optional but recommended)
Confectioners’ sugar (optional)
Sprigs fresh mint, rinsed in cold water (if leaves are small and sparse use more sprigs)
Green or black tea bags

EQUIPMENT:
Measuring cups and spoons

2-quart saucepan
6 short tea glasses or teacups (about 6 to 8 ounces in size)
Standard teaspoon, for pouring tea into a glass
Medium mixing bowl
Rubber spatula, for scraping bowl
Food processor
1 to 2 large baking pans or cookie sheets lined with parchment paper
Small mesh strainer or powdered sugar shaker, for decorating cooled cookies (optional)
